Join Drs. Wendy Levinson and Kimberly Wintemute on Wednesday October 2nd as they discuss the challenge of addressing common requests for unnecessary tests and treatments.

By the end of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Engage in conversations with patients about requests for tests or treatments that are not in line with best evidence
  2. Use evidence to describe why some common tests and treatments are not necessary as part of routine care
  3. Access resources to aid patients in making decisions related to unnecessary care

The Choosing Wisely Talks Webinar Series is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
